Corn Maze Trip
The youth from the ELS churches in the area (King of Grace in Waukon, Redeemer in New Hampton, Trinity in Calmar, Jericho in Lawler, and Saude in rural New Hampton) got together for a fun day at the corn maze near Elgin, IA. They not only had a fun maze, but they also had popcorn you can pick, a number of other puzzling mazes, and an impressive nature center. Pastor Larson from Jericho and Saude also had a great devotion for the group about staying spiritually fit through the hearing and learning of God's Word.

Church Hayride - September 20, 2009
The Church Hayride capped off the Fall Festival. The day began with the church service at the West Paint Creek Synod Lutheran Church. Pastor Smith preached an edifying sermon on Philippians 4:4-7 and we celebrated the Lord's Supper. Afterwards we went to King of Grace for a brunch potluck. We left from the church for an enjoyable hayride around the south side of town.
